Andrew Woolf is a saxophone and clarinet player known for his versatility across a diverse range of styles, his sensitive musicianship, and his distinctive and expressive instrumental voice. Admired for his melodic and restrained approach as a jazz player, he is also now recognised as a leading exponent of choro in the UK, alongside his performances in a variety of settings, crossing between modern jazz (London Vocal Project, The Button Band), Brazilian music (Alvorada, Choro Matiz), experimental improvisation (Madwort Saxophone Quartet), burning Afrobeat (Afrik Bawantu) and more. This breadth of experience and interest finds a unified voice in his output as a band leader and composer

Ursula Ehrenberg

Trained as a chorister from an early age, Ursula also studied classical piano, flute and recorder and is a qualified piano teacher. She made the transition to Jazz in 2000 and trained with Lee Gibson, Tina May and Anita Wardell. Performed with musicians such as Laurie Holloway, Nick Weldon, Malcolm Edmonstone, Barry Green, Pete Churchill, Jeff Clyne, Trevor Tomkins, at venues in the UK including Pizza on the Park as well as Germany and Canada. Ability to perform in German with special interest in Cabaret and Kurt Weill songs.

Robin Watters

I am heavily influenced by 1940's Big Band swing. New Orleans both traditional and modern, along with Chicago style Rhythm 'n' Blues. My favourite drummers start with Warren Baby Dodds and then on to Gene Krupa, Louis Belsen, Art Blakey, Elvin Jones, Ginger Baker and Billy Cobham. I am currently fusing Swing and Rhythm 'n' Blues in the Robin Watters Barlles of Fun Jazz Band, this is run alongside my other band The Robin Watters New Orleans Orchestra which blends New Orleans, Blues and Funk. Both Bands are active on the European Jazz scene.

Dynamic Australian saxophonist/flautist Louise Eliott leads this contemporary London jazz ensemble in an "African-inspired jazz explosion". Since her arrival in London from Sydney she has worked with a distinguished selection of African and South American musicians, including the Grand Union Orchestra, Mervyn Africa and the late Clifford Jarvis and his Prophets of Jazz. She regularly performs with British jazz guitarist Deirdre Cartwright and has featured on recordings by Annie Whitehead the Guest Stars, Jah Wobble & Deidre Cartwright. Her music reflects the diversity of these influences and has been referred to in the Guardian as "her profoundly diverse smorgasbord of funk, blues and rock"

Emma Blake

London based jazz singer, currently signed to Voiceprint Records, tracks from her CD "goodness knows..." can be heard frequently on Jazz FM's Dinner Jazz programme. Appears regularly at The Vortex and London's National Theatre on the South Bank. Her next gig at the NT will be on 5th March 2004 where she will be joined by Leon Greening on piano, Julie Walkington on bass, and Clark Tracey on drums.

Alex Wilson: Alex Wilson took a fateful decision in 1993 and his passion for music and jazz into a professional career and by 1996 he had become one of the most in-demand keyboard players on both the London jazz and Latin music scenes. His debut solo Album, Afro-Saxon, was released in 1997. By 2000 he was called to play in Courtney Pine?s band this collaboration lasted for a year after which Alex wanted to focus on his own projects and establishing his own band. He also began recording the album that was to become R&B Latino. In 2001 Alex picked up the BBC Rising Star Jazz Award.

Adele’s formal jazz training culminated in the Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music Studies (performance, composition and arranging) from the renowned Goldsmiths College, University of London
