Rory Ingham

Rory Ingham is a 20 year old jazz trombonist, educator, composer and arranger based in London. He was recently nominated for Rising Star in the British Jazz Awards, and was voted as a runner-up in the Trombonist of The Year category by a public vote, also in the British Jazz Awards. He has played with internationally-acclaimed musicians such as Elliot Mason, Dennis Rollins, Vincent Gardener, Rick Taylor, Soweto Kinch, Newton Faulkner, Liane Carroll, and Dave Liebman. He has performed at prestigious venues/festivals across the UK and Europe, including Ronnie Scott's, 606 Club, the Vortex, The Sage, Spice of Life, London Jazz Festival, Royal Festival Hall, Kings Place, Barbican Hall, Leeds 02, Band on the Wall, Abbey Road Studios, Bridgewater Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and most recently the Bimhuis, Amsterdam, where he was a featured soloist

British saxophonist Alastair Penman is a dynamic and versatile performer and composer, presenting contemporary music in new and exciting ways. Having obtained masters’ degrees in both Information and Computer Engineering (University of Cambridge) and Saxophone Performance (Royal Northern College of Music), Alastair has a strong interest in the fusion of live saxophone performance with electronic effects, backings, and enhancements to create often previously undiscovered sound-worlds. Although classically trained, Alastair enjoys exploring many musical worlds; such influences can be heard in both his compositions and performances, which often transcend genre definition. As a soloist, Alastair has given performances at venues including Milton Court Concert Hall, Trinity and St Catharine’s College Chapels (Cambridge), and the Concert Hall and Carole Nash Recital Room at the Royal Northern College of Music

Serena Sykes is a vocalist and bass player, living in Birchington, Kent. She currently features in Swing Noir, a Swing/Gypsy Jazz trio with Jim Knowler, (Hullabaloo, The Keytones) and Jonny Hepbir, (The Jonny Hepbir Quartet), and Seremas, with Thomas Abrahams, (Manor Manouche, The Thomas Abrahams trio). Biography - GIULIANO PEREIRA Like many contemporary improvising musicians, saxophonist Giuliano Pereira is the archetypal global citizen. He left his native Brazil in the late 90s, resided in New York and Madrid before finally settling in London in 2009. He has also performed in Canada, Portugal, Angola, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bulgaria, Bahrain and Sweden. In Brazil, he trained at the Carlos de Campos de Tatui Conservatoire where his tutors included Claudio Leal [harmony] and David Richards [Improvisation]. In addition to this formal musical education, Pereira began to perform and record studio sessions, exploring and developing his own style
