Leo Tardin

As the first laureate in 1999 of the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival International Piano Solo Competition, and the only Swiss to have won it so far, Leo Tardin has paved the way to a new generation of Swiss pianists.

After releasing five albums with his Grand Pianoramax project, with which he has performed all over the world (Tokyo Jazz Festival, Paleo Festival Nyon, SXSW in Austin, Akbank Jazz Festival in Istanbul, etc.), he has primarily devoted himself to his new solo project.

In order to do so, he recorded twenty concerts, and has carefully selected the very best moments. The chosen tracks have been gathered under the title Collection, a triple album with several supplements (a songbook, video tutorials and downloadable alternate takes).
