Melbourne based folk singer Leah Senior’s music falls into a dim wallpapered room of slightly out of tune parlour guitars and the ghosts of Summer and 1960s Britain. Leah Senior’s second album to be released early 2017 pays homage to her dark folk roots while hinting at layers of psychedelic and pop undertones. The blinds are drawn and the songs are covered in a fine layer of dust yet there is sunlight peaking through the gaps, a silver lining to a dusky tone and a sense of humour behind the tragedy.
