José-Manuel Sandoval is a composer, arranger and architect who developed a natural ability to understand music analytically, using mathematical and geometrical criteria. Autonomously learned to play piano, drums, guitar, bass, trumpet, trombone and saxophone. He conceived his first compositions at age 13 and soon began to make their own arrangements of various pieces of music, combining jazz with different styles, obtaining genuine musical textures. Since 1992 he has studied music theory and harmony and is the creator of a mathematical procedure to generate all intervals, scales and chords possible in the 12-tone equal temperament system.

H Tyrone Walls

H. Tyrone Walls started his musical training on alto saxophone through high school. After graduating from Garland High, Tyrone attended the University of North Texas where he added the guitar. During his post-college years, Tyrone continued to show his ability to learn any instrument when he started playing the piano in 1987 because his church (New Mt. Hebron Baptist Church) simply needed a piano player, then in 1989, he added the organ. Tyrone also directed several choirs since 1987, where for several years he also played piano/organ and directed choirs at two churches, and also managed to learn to play drums in the interim

Dan Nicholls is a keyboardist, reeds player, composer and producer, also working with video and animation. His music is inspired by prevalent issues in society: exploring environment, experience and identity, as well as the use of various forms of media for political and social influence. Dan has studied Indian classical music, worked with dance, and produced projects with film and visual art. He has performed at music festivals in Berlin, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Malmo, London, Birmingham and Cheltenham as well as venues throughout Europe. Colin Hogan

Colin Hogan was born in San Francisco to a very musical family. He began studying drums in the 1st grade, started experimenting with the guitar in middle school, and finally discovered his true passion for piano in high school. Colin was a member of the world-renowned Berkeley High School Jazz Ensemble alongside “young lions” Ambrose Akinmusire, Justin Brown, and Thomas Pridgen while also studying with the Jazzschool’s founder, Susan Muscarella.
