His production and arranging work has been recognized and acclaimed by Billboard, Downbeat, Vibe and Rolling Stone magazines. His varied composition works includes a Meet The Composer grant for the improvisational score to "Tetsuo, The Iron Man" which was performed at the Knitting Factory in New York. He also composed the music for the opening and closing ceremonies of the millennium celebration in Times Square, New York City

Joe Krown

Joe Krown - piano, Hammond B3, organ, Joe Krown moved to New Orleans in 1992 after honing his keyboard skills in the Northeast. Since that time, he has built a strong reputation as first-call organist and pianist in the Crescent City. Joe held the keyboard chair with Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown & Gate’s Express from 1992 until Gatemouth's passing in the fall of 2005. Joe is featured on the chart topping albums “The Man,” “Gate Swings,” “American Music Texas Style,” and “Back to Bogalusa” albums. In 1995, Gatemouth and the Gate's Express including Joe on keyboards did a 62 date world tour as the opening act for Eric Clapton

Bill Cornish

Never one to be going in only one direction, Bill Cornish seeks out projects that allow him to utilize his many influences. In addition to producing solo CDs which themselves are an eclectic blend of jazz, funk, orchestral and world fusion, he is also the keyboardist for the jazz/rock fusion project The Odd Get Even (featuring Ike Turner alumni drummer Bill Ray) and the Chicago-based tribal-jam-rock band Giant Shadows. Over the years, Bill has been the keyboardist for a variety of bands including The Thomas Connor Band (rock project featuring Blood Sweat & Tears singer Thomas Connor), Zindu (improvisational groove fusion), Will Sumner's Tropic Zone (Latin influenced jazz), and Willovalot (smooth jazz and funk). From the early 80s through the mid-90s, he was keyboardist for Crystal, a band with whom he spent twelve years touring throughout the western United States, Alaska and Japan

Eric Copeland

Born: August 18, 1963

THE JAZZ IN ME marks the return to original jazz music by producer, keyboardist, and songwriter Eric Copeland. After releasing albums of his own in the 90's, including the funky, synth jazz "Cooler" and the seminal, laid back "Stolen Moments", Copeland began producing albums for national and international artists full-time. In the past few years though, Copeland began retooling some older songs he had written for other artists (My Steps Are Ordered, Come to Me), new takes on classic hymns (Softly and Tenderly, Just As I Am), polishing up a few he had previously released (Have Thine Own Way), and writing new tunes that defined his current place in life (In Between Dreams, On the Side)

The Keynote Trio

The Keynote Trio plays original compilations, various Jazz styles, R & B, Blues, Bossa Nova, and has worked together playing clubs and a variety of affairs/venues around Chicago's south side and Northwest Indiana. Keynote Trio's sound is derived from a variety of influences and musical approaches, resulting in a contemporary take on a classic jazz sound, performed with refreshing clarity, romance, and soul. The Keynote Trio plays in regular rotation at The Weather Mark Tavern 1503 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL; has performed for Jazz for Jewel-Osco Corporation, and Candid Jazz & Conversation hosted by former WNUA DJ Denise Jordan Walker. Jeff Babko

Pianist/keyboardist Jeff Babko is a native of Southern California, and has remained on the west coast throughout his career.  Babko constantly balances many musical and professional hats, as an in-demand recording musician and touring keyboardist.

After graduating from the University of Miami’s distinguished Frost School Of Music, Babko began working with international superstar Julio Iglesias on a series of worldwide tours.  He also appeared in Iglesias' "Tango" longform video.

After leaving Iglesias, Babko began regularly touring Asia and Europe super-drummer Simon Phillips. Soon after, he joined guitarist Robben Ford's band, and later extensively toured and recorded with Larry Carlton.  With Carlton, Babko performed for the King and royal family of Thailand in Bangkok's royal palace.   Listeners can enjoy Babko's recorded work with Ford and Carlton on their joint effort, Live In Tokyo, as well as on some of their individual recordings (see "other people's rekkids" section).  Babko also backed Carlton with Japanese B'z guitar superstar Tak Matsumoto on their Grammy award winning recording.
