Seattle bassist Kevin McCarthy gained his love for music starting as a trumpet player at a young age, eventually finding his way to bass – his true musical voice. Kevin has studied bass with Doug Miller, Steve Kim, Chuck Deardorf, and John Clayton. Kevin is one of Seattle's busiest musician's, playing frequently around the area with his own quartet and trio. Kevin can also be heard as a sideman for many of the other fine musicians and vocalists in the area.
