Kathleen Grace

"At once smart, alluring, evocative..." — Washington Post
Over the past three years songwriter and jazz vocalist Kathleen Grace has made a name for herself on the national scene as a lyrical vocalist with a desire to push boundaries. She has performed at festivals in the U.S., Europe and South America including the Montreux Jazz Festival and the SXSW Music Festival. A product of the fertile music scene in Los Angeles, Grace borrows from several genres in her writing and arranging, combining virtuosic jazz with the textures of indie folk/rock. The result is music played at the highest level and enhanced by eclectic instrumentation and vocal harmonies.

“Pure-toned jazz vocalist …stepping into her own as an incisive tunesmith” — San Francisco Chronicle
Grace’s most recent CD, Mirror, was born out of a desire to fuse the musical language of jazz with the storytelling of the American folk tradition

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
