Johnny Tunnard

Johnny is a highly regarded UK session piano player and musician. He comes from a long line of musicians- his Great Aunt being the accompanist to the likes of Benjamin Britten and Joyce Grenfell. He is also related to his names sake John Tunnard, a famous surrealist painter and jazz drummer. 

In 2023 he released a debut single of the hit version Lovely Day by Bill Withers in homage to the late great soul singer. The track features John McCallum on vocals (Corrine Bailey Rae) and fellow Haggis Horns and Bailey Rae band member Malcolm Strachan on horns (who has also worked with the likes of Amy Winehouse, John Legend and Jamiroquai).
