Throughout his long-lived career, Johnny Knapp has accompanied such stars as Billie Holiday, Sally Kellerman, Barbra Streisand, and Tyne Daly. He has worked as a musical director of several feature films, including "Funny Girl." He teaches jazz vocals at City College of New York and jazz and jazz history at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and has been a private teacher and coach for more than 30 years.
