From Detroit, bassist Patrick Prouty and guitarist John Barron present Tunnel and Bridge, a duo recording of original progressive jazz, released in August of 2008.

For years, long-time friends and musical associates Patrick Prouty and John Barron had discussed a duo recording project. Finally, in the summer of 2007, the two musicians came together at the renowned Big Sky studio in Ann Arbor, MI, and in one afternoon, recorded eight original compositions and a re-harmonized medley of "Oh Canada" and "The Star Spangled Banner." The music is inspired by, and dedicated to the memory of musicians Alberto Rosal and Odessa Harris.
