Jeff Stout

Jeff Stout, a staunch defender of mainstream jazz, is one of the finest and busiest freelance jazz trumpeters in the New England area.

Jeff Stout, a Boston area native, has played solo trumpet and recorded with the great “Buddy Rich Band” Gary Burton and has appeared with such jazz greats as Mel Torme’, Buddy Tate, James Williams, Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Joe Lovano, Curtis Fuller, John Scofield and Kurt Elling - to name a few. He also tours with Al Kooper of “Blood, Sweat & Tears” fame.

In addition to his teaching schedule as a long time Professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he often performs and teaches internationally.
