Roxana Amed

Roxana Amed has released six albums – Limbo (2004), Entremundos (2006), Cinemateca Finlandesa (2010), Inocencia (2011), La Sombra de Su Sombra (2013), Instantáneas (2019) – digitally released by Sony Music Latin, along with one DVD, La Voz Más Allá in 2009. Recipient of the Carlos Gardel Award for Argentine Music and the Martin Fierro Award for best song in a TV production, the singer/songwriter is also known for penning songs for other artists. She has worked extensively with Argentine multi instrumentalist Pedro Aznar, a veteran of the Pat Metheny Band and the producer of Amed’s first albums. Maria Damore is a vocalist and private voice teacher from Berks County, PA, and 2022 recipient of the Berks Jazz Fest Frank Scott award for contributions to Berks County’s Jazz Heritage. Maria has been an educator for Olivet Boys & Girls Club, adjudicator for vocal competitions, and clinician for GetJazzED, Berks-Vocal Day. Candice Tugby

Born: August 23, 1995

Candice Tugby is a Jazz musician, composer, arranger, and educator from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Candice graduated with a Bachelor of Jazz (Trumpet) Degree from the University of Manitoba's Desautels Faculty of Music's Jazz Studies Program where she has had the opportunity to study with Derrick Gardner, Steve Kirby, Quincy Davis, Jon Gordon, Larry Roy, Will Bonness, and Anna-Lisa Kirby. She has performed at local venues such as the Lyric Theatre, CCFM, The Berney Theatre, Sam's Place, Joe Black's Coffee Shop, Resto Gare, The King's Head Pub, The Orbit Room, and The Palm Lounge where she has had the opportunity to perform with many talented local and international musicians. More recently, Candice played in New York City at several different venues including with the Anna-Lisa Kirby quintet at Small's Jazz Club and Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks at The Iguana. Candice is in the process of creating content for an album to be released in the near future.

Nadine Axisa

Born: August 12, 1981

Nadine Axisa is an established versatile singer, with a passion for smooth jazz, latin, swing and soul music. She received vocal training in classical singing at a young age and discovered her love for jazz music through the performance in clubs and bars in her late teens. Nadine studied jazz classics, attended and followed a number of workshops with acclaimed tutors including Tina May, Iain Mackenzie, Guillermo Rozenthuler, Donna Mc Elroy, Dennis Montgomery III and Anne Peckham. She later pursued her studies at the Johann Strauss School of Music with Joe Debono. Nadine released her debut album 'Velvet' in 2014 featuring twelve original tracks, mostly composed by Maltese composers and authors in the smooth jazz style

Dimitri is from a family of 5 children whose parents play piano in their moments of relaxation (mother on classical pieces and father’s on jazz tunes).

He will hear daily throughout his childhood regular bossa nova and jazz vinyl records of his relatives (especially Antonio Carlos Jobim and Errol Garner).

So from 6 years old, he sat at the piano and with his sole ears learnt to re-play melodies and song themes by memory.

At 15, at decision time for the rest of his education and career, music was deeply rooted in him.

But another very inner desire to found a happy family with children led him to favor a career in engineering, safer to support its future wife and children.
