Dwight Jenkins is a composer and electric bass musician. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Dwight was always surrounded by different forms of music. His father was a tenor saxophone player with various bands. His parents exposed him to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced his development. His first venture into learning an instrument himself came when he started to play the drums in grade school. Later while in the 4th grade, he switched from the drums to playing trumpet, and then picking up a guitar at the age of 12. Dwight later on in life decided to buy a bass guitar, to fulfill a lifetime dream and ambition
