Summer Camargo

Summer Camargo, 19, is a trumpet player entering her sophomore year of college, majoring in jazz studies. She is a recipient of a Jerome L. Greene Fellowship at The Juilliard School. ​ Summer, born and raised in Hollywood, FL, has been a member of the prestigious All-National Jazz Band, the Jazz Band of America, the Grammy Band, the Next Generation Women in Jazz Combo, the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, and was named a National YoungArts Foundation Merit winner, and Honorable Mention in Jazz Trumpet, as well as Merit winner in Jazz Composition. Summer was also Downbeat Magazine’s Outstanding Student Jazz Performance Award recipient

UK-born, New Zealand raised, Cordez has lived and worked in London, Madrid, and New York City. A busy bassist, composer and educator now settled in the vibrant Bristol music scene. As a jazz performer, Cordez has performed and recorded with Tony Malaby, Jon Cowherd, Steve Cardenas, Kenny Wollesen, Allison Miller, Kirk Knuffke, Micheal Blake, Iain Ballamy, Jason Rebello, Tim Garland, Huw Warren, Martin France, Chris Biscoe, Andy Sheppard, Sam Crockatt, Gareth Lochrane, John Law amongst others. Iming Lin

Iming Lin is a classically trained, jazz saxophonist and composer, from Taipei, Taiwan. His musical journey began when he was six years old, when his parents decided to enroll him for piano lessons in the hopes that music would calm and discipline this boisterous, energetic six-year old boy. Few years later, Lin picked up the saxophone at the age of ten when his music teacher introduced him to wind concert band. Lin went on to study classical saxophone at Chinese Culture University and Shih Chien University. He won the Shih Chien University Concerto Competition in 2009 and performed Paul Creston “Concerto for Alto Saxophone” with Shih Chien University Orchestra at Taipei ZongShan Hall

Born in 2001 in Hackensack, NJ, Matthew Whitaker grew up surrounded by music. His love for playing music first began at the young age of 3, after his grandfather gave him a small Yamaha keyboard. At 9, Matthew began teaching himself how to play the Hammond B3 organ. Four years later, he became the youngest artist to be endorsed by Hammond—in its 80+ year history. He was also named a Yamaha Artist at 15, becoming the youngest musician to join the stellar group of jazz pianists. Described by her mentor Claire Martin OBE as “A wonderful singer with a great musical ear and natural jazz feel.'', Fleur Stevenson is one of the new breed of jazz singers, known for her velvet tone, imaginative improvisation and sparkling presentation. She enjoys collaborations with many of the UKs top musicians including Gareth Williams, David Newton, Brandon Allen, Frank Harrison to name a few. She performs at many prestigious venues across the UK, including the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, 606 Club and Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho. Andreas Toftemark is a 30-year-old saxophonist and composer who currently lives in Copenhagen. For 4 years Andreas lived and performed regularly on the New York jazz scene, he has been on tour in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and Spain; and performed at venues such as The Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Christanias Jazz Club Copenhagen, The Hat Bar in Berlin and Unity Jazz Club in Sweden, both as a sideman and bandleader. LA bred and based musician NATALIE HANNA MENDOZA is an award winning jazz vocalist and songwriter. She performs many other vocal genres including POP, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Motown and Classical. With a broad range of vocal stylings, Natalie is lead vocalist in several groups including The Fabus Four, Natalie and Shane, and the acoustic Americana band, The Frogtown Serenaders. Jerry Pellegrino

Jerry Pellegrino grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey (USA).  A born musician, he started taking piano lessons at age 8.  In high school he added drums to his repertoire, and with his brother Jim went on to study at the prestigious Harlem Jazz Mobile in New York. Jerry moved out to the West coast in 1979, where he quickly established himself as a performer and teacher in the Los Angeles area.  Still only in his 20's, he appeared in the 1984 Summer Olympics opening ceremonies, For the last 25 years, Jerry has been dedicated to teaching full time, bringing his love of music to the next generation of performers.  Jerry is a firm believer in the power of music to better the lives of those less fortunate than he.  Since 2011, he has headlined annual benefit concerts at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, in order to raise money for the R.B
