Elegant, seductive and smooth are as synonymous to the sounds of Penny Wells as they are to the woman who sings them. Penny's background in Jazz, Classical, R&B, as well as gospel, all of which have formed Penny's sultry sophisticated sound.
A native of Detroit, it wasn't long before Penny gained exposure from her exciting stage performances as well as her dynamic singing, brought comparisons to other native Detroiters such as Anita Baker and Gladys Knight. Penny has had the distinct honor of being named Outstanding Gospel/Christian Vocalist by the Detroit Music Awards as well as Outstanding Jazz Vocalist by the Detroit Black Music Awards.

Performing in commercials since the age of 4, Angela was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. A true Southern Belle, she has a dual degree in Theatre and Business from South Carolina State University. Her musical introduction began early under the influence of her parents love of jazz. She credits her style to a mixture of Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and Lena Horne. Her education into the intricacies of jazz styling was honed under the direction of Dr. Alvin Fulton and the South Carolina State University Jazz Ensemble and had the unique introduction to Jazz greats like Frank Foster, Jimmy Heath, Oscar Peterson and Carmen McRae
