Itamar Dahan is a New York-based jazz pianist, composer, and producer, recognized for his powerful blend of tradition and innovation. At just 24, Dahan has already performed with legends like NEA Jazz Master Reggie Workman, Billy Hart, Billy Harper, and Omer Avital, and appeared at major festivals including the John Coltrane Jazz Festival and the Red Sea Jazz Festival, where he won first place twice in the Young Ensemble competition.
Originally from Jerusalem, Dahan trained at the Israel Conservatory of Music before earning a full scholarship to The New School’s prestigious Jazz and Contemporary Music Program in New York City. There, he studied with Ari Hoenig, Aaron Goldberg, and Buster Williams, and represented the school at major citywide events.
