Irene Sorozábal is a Spanish recorder player and singer based in Amsterdam. She performs a variety of music ranging from medieval to contemporary classical music as well as improvised and original music. She has performed in festivals like Gaudeamus Muziekweek, Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Zürcher Theater Spektakel, Oude Muziek Utrecht, OdeGant and Donau Festival. Irene sings in Groot Omroepkoor (Netherlands Radio Choir), Capella Amsterdam and Bachkoor Holland. As a recorder player, she performs with the renaissance consort The Royal Wind Music. As a performer, singer and composer, Irene collaborates with visual artists, theatre makers and choreographers
