Holger Jetter

Holger Jetter started playing the violin at the age of 6. He studied western classical music, principal instrument violin, at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria. Further studies with Lynn Blakeslee and Jean-Jacques Kantoroff, completed his classical violin education. At the age of 18 he released a first recording with a German rock band. His broad musical interests manifested in many band projects in various styles such as Bluegrass, Argentinean tango and Klezmer music. Holger's strong affinity to improvised music led to the formation of the „Modern String Quartet“
