Albin Vesterberg

Albin Vesterberg (born in 1992) is a Swedish guitar player working in the field of jazz and improvised music. After finishing his Bachelor's Degree at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2016 he moved to Hamburg, Germany where he earned his Master's Degree at the Dr. Langner Jazz Master at HfMT in 2018. Albin is currently working in a few different constellations including: Gustav Broman/Albin Vesterberg duo, SPIIC Ensemble, Graupe/Vesterberg/Roth, BAMM and Vincent Dombrowski Trio. He has performed in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and France, both as soloist and with musicians like: David Stackenäs, Gustav Broman, Vlatko Kucan, Ronny Graupe, Anna-Lena Schnabel and Lauren Newton.

SOULDACITY a Jazz-Soul-Funk Fusion Quartet…creating a sound that tingles the musical senses of anyone who loves music! Darrin Lamont Byrd (vocals) and Boris Netsvetaev (keyboards) met at König der Löwen in 2012 and started doing music events together. Shortly after Boris introduced Darrin to Kai Bussenius (drums) and Phil Steen (bass) and a collaboration was born. As a Trio they are known as Hammer Klavier Trio. SOUL-AUDACITY combined to mean the boldness of soul, is where the name comes from. Since then it has evolved into Soul-Da- City (Soul of the City). From the start we were reinventing old classics such as my Funny Valentine, Aint No Sunshine when She’s Gone, and Nature Boy to name a few

was born on April 9th, 1968, in Berne, Switzerland. He attended Berne Conservatory (Berne), Mannes College (New York), and Banff School of Fine Arts (Banff, Canada), where he was a long term resident artist in 1993 and went on to become a faculty member at the Jazz Workshop in 1999 and 2000. Among his teachers where Branimir Slokar, Guy-Noel Conus, Conrad Herwig, David Taylor, and Malte Burba. In 1994 and 1995 he attended Gunther Schuller’s Schweitzer Institute of Music at Sandpoint, Idaho, where he studied with Kenny Werner and Joe Lovano. Schweizer is equally at home in Jazz- / classical - / new-music-related idioms. As a Jazz musician, Christophe has released six albums of original music under his own name and performed on many as a sideman

Hans Lüdemann

Hans Lüdemann, born 1961 in Hamburg, 1978/79 in Los Angeles/California, since 1982 in Köln, 2009/10 and 2015/16 in Philadelphia/USA. Private studies with Joachim Kühn, Studies of Classical piano at the Hamburg conservatory and Jazz piano at the Musikhochschule Köln and the Banff Centre/Canada. In Köln he obtained the first Jazz masters degree in Germany. Hans Lüdemann`s international career started in 1985 in the group of Eberhard Weber/Jan Garbarek with a tour of Asia. He worked with a number of world class musicians, among them Muhal Richard Abrams, Paul Bley (Duo CD), Hayden Chisholm, Chiwoniso, Toumani Diabate, Tata Dindin, Marc Ducret, Mark Feldman, Sol Gabetta, Dobet Gnahoré, Roger Hanschel, Lee Konitz, Joachim Kühn, Albert Mangelsdorff, Phil Minton, Angelika Niescier, Yves Robert, Heinz Sauer, Gebhard Ullmann, Bobby Zankel and Eda Zari. Hans Lüdemann is a „wanderer between the worlds“ who has created first rate European ensembles with the trio ROOMS and the octet TransEuropeExpress (T.E.E.) and who makes transcultural connections between Africa, Europe and Jazz together with balaphon player Aly Keita in the Trio Ivoire

Peer Baierlein

Peer Baierlein started playing the accordion at the age of 7 and then switched to the trumpet when he was 9.After several years in the local brass band he started his professional studies at the early age of 16 at the Musikhochschule Köln in Germany. He first became a classical trumpet teacher before beginning his studies with Prof. Malte Burba as an orchestra musician at the Musikhochschule Köln and with Arno Lange at the 'Deutsche Oper' in Berlin. In 1996, he moved to Leuven in Belgium to study with his favourite jazz-trumpet player Bert Joris at the Lemmensinstituut. Upon completion of his studies, he moved for a year to New York City in 2000, to take lessons form John McNeil and to play his instrument abroad

Lumbinigroove is a mix of Afro, Nepali and Jazz project started by Pravin Chhetri.There are so many similarities between the genres and its amazing how Nepali language fits into African rhythms and jazz harmonies.All instruments played by Pravin. Pravin Chhetri, longtime member of Cadenza started as a bass player. Later he started playing the guitar and also moved on to trumpet, sax and different percussive instruments. The self taught musician is presently in Hamburg.

Boris Netsvetaev

Boris Net (real name – Boris Netsvetaev) is a jazz musician, composer, pianist and keyboarder. He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he studied music theory/composition at the Rhymsky-Korsakov music college, but later moved to Germany in the age of 18, to continue his jazz studies at the Music and Theatre University of Hamburg. Boris Net studied with Dieter Glawischnig (piano, arrangement), Wolfgang Schlüter and Lucas Lindholm (ensemble), he also participated an International Jazz Workshop at Banff (Canada) in 1999 where he studied with Joe Lovano, Dave Holland, Ken Werner, Dave Douglas, Hugh Fraser and Ari Hoenig. The first notable step in his career was the collaboration with the US drummer veteran Steve Reid, which started in 2000 and continued until Steve´s death in 2010
