Ric DelNero
Born:
Ric DelNero began writing and performing music at an early age. He studied at the Atlanta Institute of Music and went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music. Recent projects include writing, arranging and performing with the jazz-rock group 180 and the electric jazz trio Chromatica. He has appeared as a composer, arranger and guest performer on several recording projects. Ric is currently composing, performing and giving private music instruction.

Ben McDonnell

Guitarist Ben McDonnell has been based in London since he graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2004. In that time Ben has performed and recorded for countless bands and venues. He has performed all over the world as far afield as Asia with Mongolian star Naran in Ulan-Bator, Mongolia, but also closer to home in numerous clubs and bars as well as more notable venues such as the Royal Albert Hall. In addition to playing and composing for his own band Aleph Trio with Ben Bastin and Chris Packham, Ben also plays with the Jeremy Lyons Quartet, pop act Glass Pear and singer Neil Vezina. Ben teaches guitar at Blackheath Conservatoire of the Arts and Haverstock School

Nick Andrew

Nick is a remarkably accomplished guitarist whose range encompasses the full spectrum from flamenco and classical to jazz and rock and is not only a dazzling soloist but also an intuitive and creative rhythm player. His playing style is technically highly adept but always innovative and appropriate to its musical context, whether on acoustic, electric or MIDI instruments.
Nick grew up in Scotland, where he established a formidable reputation as a virtuoso guitarist, composer, teacher and session guitarist in studios in Glasgow and Dundee. He played alongside various masters from the world of Classical and Jazz guitar including Simon Dinnegan, John Goldie, Allan Neave and Russian composer Nikita Koshkin.
He moved to London in 1997 to further develop his career, working on a wide range of solo and collaborative projects with various solo artists, cover bands, including a U2 tribute band, where Nick honed his skills in guitar effects and sound textures

Felipe Alonso
Guitarist and composer Felipe Alonso, raised in Peru, is much at ease in both electric and acoustic settings. His dedication for the guitar has led him to explore jazz music in the US and flamenco in Spain. Felipe moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute in Hollywood and the prestigious Thornton School of Music at University of Southern California. His versatility makes him standout as a unique guitarist able to perform different musical traditions with much ease and authority. "A Gathering" celebrates Felipe's musical upbringing as an innovative jazz musician able to preserve South American culture and showcase his improvisational skills on the guitar.
