Lucio Amanti

Born:

Lucio Amanti (b. Montreal, Canada, 1977) is a Canadian cellist with a neapolitan soul. He grew up and begun his studies in Cello and Composition in Naples (Italy) then in France and finally in USA with the legendary cellist Janos Starker[1].

He then decided to explore different approaches to cello playing, improving his already strong classical preparation with serious studies in the jazz field with another musical legend: Doctor David N. Baker, achieving a master's degree in jazz studies.

After finishing his studies he decided to dedicate his time to finding a personal balance between musical tradition and jazz experimental approaches.

Alexander Dubovoy

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Alexander Dubovoy is a Berlin-based pianist, singer, and composer. He graduated from Yale University in May 2016, where he wrote an award-winning thesis on the history of jazz in the Soviet Union. Since graduating, he has performed at storied international venues, including the Cornelia Street Cafe in NYC, Donau115 in Berlin, Rakuya Label in Tokyo, etc. His solo album Portraits Drawn Without You has garnered over 8 million streams on Spotify. He currently works for Groupmuse, a cooperative arts organization with a social mission to ensure fair pay for musicians
