ULRICH MITZLAFF completed his cello studies in the seventies at Tübingen (Germany) with Professor Stefan Zarnescú. Since 1996 he lives at Lisbon, Portugal, where he works as cellist and composer of contemporary and experimental music, improvisation, free-jazz, conceptual composition and sound-art. He collaborates with various artists in multidisciplinary and electro-acoustic projects including music creations for dance and theatre. He was member of the art-association “granular”.

Giuseppe Costa ha iniziato lo studio del pianoforte a 18 anni e l’attività concertistica appena laureato in pianoforte. Oggi è un artista riconosciuto dagli editori di Spotify ed è presente nelle loro celebri playlist seguite da tantissimi fan, per cui la sua musica è ascoltata negli Stati Uniti, Germania, Regno Unito, Australia, Giappone e conta sul profilo personale migliaia di ascoltatori mensili.

La sua ricerca musicale inizia nel 2009 quando pubblica con la casa editrice SGB di Messina “Curioso” (brano dodecafonico per fagotto solo) e “Tre brani per pianoforte solo” (brani scritti con un approccio sperimentale per lo sviluppo cognitivo del pianista). Per quest’ultimo lavoro, nel 2014, BookCity Milano lo seleziona per un concerto conferenza al teatro Dal Verme. Questi brani fanno parte del progetto “Studi”.

Dan Phillips is an American guitarist, composer and band leader who has worked professionally in New York, Chicago, Bangkok and Tokyo as well as touring globally. Dan is the leader of the critically acclaimed Chicago Edge Ensemble, Quartet Next, Dan Phillips Trio, Dan Phillips Quartet. Dan has performed with jazz musicians such as Hamid Drake, Gerald Wilson, Danilo Pérez, Avreeayl Ra, Michael Zerang, Dave Rempis, Jeb Bishop, Mars Williams, Jim Baker , and Ed Thigpen and many more.

Larry Stabbins

Born: September 9, 1949

Larry Stabbins was born in Bristol where he started learning clarinet at the age of eight then soprano saxophone at nine and graduating to tenor sax at ten. He did his first paid gig in his father's dance band at twelve and started a long association with pianist Keith Tippett when he was sixteen and Keith eighteen at the legendary Dugout Club in Bristol. At the same time he served his musical apprenticeship in local dancehall resident bands and countless soul bands.  He later contributed to many of Tippett's projects such as Centipede, Ark, Tapestry and the Septet. In addition to occasional duo performances, in the mid-eighties they also worked for a several years  as a trio  with percussionist Louis Moholo recording the album "Tern" on FMP, while Tippett was himself involved in various Working Week and Weekend activities and Keith's wife Julie sang on the fourth Working Week album.

Piero Bittolo Bon

Piero Bittolo Bon is one of the busiest and most in demand italian musicians in the italian jazz and avant-garde scene. He mainly plays alto saxophone but is also at ease on baritone saxophone, flutes and clarinets. Piero has also had a long-standing affair going on with the electric bass, which he played at the beginning of his musical journey in funk, reggae, and rock bands, before committing himself to wind instruments and improvised music. Passionate and vibrant, his music, densely composed or totally improvised, reverberates with echoes of the best of free jazz, fire music, torrid improvisations and chamberesque compositions, sharp attacks and continuous inventions bar after bar
