Beginning in 1997, Alex has taught a wide range of students: beginners through advanced; aged four through seventy. Alex regularly works with students who are members of their school jazz ensembles. Students who aren't actively involved with an ensemble or group have the option of working on standards, learning improvisation, chord melody, music theory and song writing.
