A former member of Spaceman Sun Ra's - Arkestra, Fiidla spent time fronting the pop group Surface, and playing on Hip-Hop tracks like "Hip-Hop for Respect" from Raucus Records, Talib Kweli's "For Women" and Common's "Sun God". Forming his own band, "Chocolate Wireworks", he draws on his love of Soul and R&B, and used his extensive Jazz, Classical and Indian Training.
