Shoketta

Shoketta is a vocalist and composer from Okinawa, Japan, whose music is rooted in jazz, soul, R&B and gospel. She began singing at the age of 13 in a church on a U.S. military base in Okinawa, where she first encountered gospel and soul and discovered how music could connect people across languages and cultures.

As a young adult, Shoketta began performing professionally as a pianist in hotel lounges in Okinawa. Over time, she made a defining decision to make her voice her primary instrument. At 25, she moved to Tokyo on her own to pursue formal vocal training. Those years of study eventually led to a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Martina Lupi

Martina Lupi is more than just a voice: she is a seeker of invisible frequencies, an artist who has successfully carried the ritual power of ancestral instruments into the sophisticated textures of contemporary songwriting.

After years of experimentation with the Tupa Ruja ensemble, where the didgeridoo and harmonic singing became instruments of pure narration, Martina now arrives at her long awaited solo debut: "Dannate Salvatrici" (Damned Saviours), (Filibusta Records). 

This album marks the birth of a new singer-songwriter persona, where the word becomes flesh and the sound becomes archetype. At the heart of the project resonates the "Sound of Distance," an aesthetic and philosophical concept that Martina explores alongside the pianistic sensitivity of Alessandro Gwis. Here, distance is not absence, but a vibrant territory of anticipation, a fertile void where the piano, electronics, and Martina’s world instruments engage in a dialogue to evoke what is distant, yet profoundly present. 

Sugartime Trio

Established in 2016, Sugartime Trio is a dynamic Seattle-based female jazz/pop ensemble celebrated for their tight three-part harmonies, sizzling swing, and lush ballads. Originally formed as a tribute to the The McGuire Sisters in collaboration with the Purple Phoenix Orchestra, the group quickly expanded its repertoire to include music inspired by the The Andrews Sisters, the The Boswell Sisters, along with original arrangements uniquely crafted for Sugartime Trio.

Blending timeless classics from the 1930s with contemporary favorites, the trio (Kim Maguire, Meg McLynn, & Caitlin Frances) delivers a distinctive vocal sound paired with charismatic stage presence and polished musicianship. Their remarkably unique vocal blend and vibrant performances bring both nostalgia and fresh energy to every stage they grace.

Alessia Piermarini

Born: June

Born and raised in Rome, Alessia Piermarini is a singer-songwriter, pianist and loop virtuoso who moved to London over 10 years ago.

Over the course of her career, she has collaborated with renowned american artists such as Ursula Rucker and Jaguar Wright (featuring on Alessia’s solo album) and opened for Frank McComb at London iconic Jazz Café.

Her unique style blends elements of Jazz, Nu-Soul, Hip Hop, and Spoken Word Poetry.

Alessia is also a passionate blogger and writer, occasionally performing her written works live, accompanied by her loop machine.

She recently released her single Not Mine, a powerful reflection on the climate crisis, featuring some of the finest musicians from the London jazz scene. The track was well received by both radio stations and DJs, earning airplay on the BBC.

Allie Porter

Allie Porter
Hails from Crofton, MD and is a singer and songwriter now living in New Orleans with honest pipes and a heart of gold bringing you the music of your past, present and future.
She has been influenced by Grace Slick, Joni Mitchell, Irma Thomas, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Beyonce and Janis Joplin.
She can be seen performing in New Orleans with The Allie Porter Band, The Holy Trinity Trio and more. She joined Billie Davies in January of 2018 for the “PERSPECTIVES I & II” project.

Lil Red & The Rooster

A deep calling lead them both to the Blues, and the Blues brought them together in 2010. For over a decade Jen “Lil’ Red” Milligan and Pascal Fouquet have been fine tuning their style and living and breathing their music. Decades of knowledge and experience ring through Pascal’s tasteful touch and the sparkle in Red’s sassy smile. Retro modern blues, is how they describe this style, it’s constantly evolving as the artists themselves, but the roots remain in the Blues. Their songs are as diverse as the many different styles of Blues because the couple finds all of them intriguing. Onstage they’re intimately real and at times hilarious. They exude a contagious charm that guarantees you’ll feel good no matter how haunting the song or biting the message. It all comes from a place of love and respect for the Blues and humanity. They both know the power of its healing and want to share it. 

Hannah Brine

Hannah Brine is a singer-songwriter based in the Peak District, UK.

Hannah is releasing her debut album Blue Sky Now independently in June 2025. While rooted in modern jazz sensibilities, Blue Sky Now is also influenced by iconic singer-songwriters spanning several decades, such as Carole King, Norah Jones, Cleo Sol and Rumer, who Hannah is supporting on tour later this year.

As well as developing a strong reputation for her solo work and live performances, Hannah Brine is a highly successful choir director, assembling and managing vocal ensembles for TV and recording projects such as the Americana Awards, ITV Voices and the Royal Variety Show, as well as for high profile live events such as WOMAD and Wilderness Festivals. Hannah co-wrote and provided lead vocals on the 2022 single “You and I” with DJ Ciaran McAuley & Roger Shah, which topped the global trance charts, and has also written a number of pieces of choral music, including Winter Lark, a song for lockdown which was featured on Scala FM.

Yumi Ito

With her voice, Yumi Ito creates worlds far beyond all boundaries. The Polish-Japanese-born Swiss is considered one of the most outstanding representatives of vocal improvisation and moves effortlessly between genres and her roles as a singer, pianist and composer. Ito's own music is correspondingly diverse, a veritable ocean of art-pop, jazz and neoclassical music. Based on countless concerts and tours, the musician acts like a Zen master, clear, reflective and with a uniquely powerful energy. Milestones in her career include performances at the Blue Note New York, Montreux Jazz Festival, tours in Asia, South America, Europe and five released albums as a band leader, most recently the critically highly acclaimed Ysla (2023 via enja yellowbird records).

Suzanne Grzanna

Suzanne Grzanna, professionally known as Sax Diva®, is a multi-award-winning recording artist, vocalist, alto saxophonist, songwriter, arranger, producer, music publisher, entrepreneur, and multiple #1 iTunes Jazz Charting artist. With thirteen albums and hundreds of recordings released through her independent label, Diva Records LLC, Suzanne has built an international reputation for her expressive alto saxophone, captivating vocals, and sophisticated songwriting. Her music has been featured in film, television, and radio worldwide, and she continues to inspire audiences through live performances, recordings, and artistic collaborations.

Silva & Steini

The debut album from Icelandic duo Silva & Steini, More Than You Know is proof of the pure magic in truly inspired song interpretation. Over the course of eight spellbinding tracks, Reykjavík-based musicians Silva Thordardottir and Steingrímur Teague reimagine a lovingly curated collection of jazz standards, presenting each in a gorgeously sparse arrangement that often finds their vocals solely accompanied by the warm and dreamlike tones of Wurlitzer or the muted sounds of a felted piano. A delicate convergence of their distinct sensibilities—the gracefully understated approach to jazz singing Silva first revealed on her 2019 full-length debut, the inventive yet elegant musicianship Steini has showcased as a member of globally beloved band Moses Hightower and as a touring/recording keyboardist for indie-folk powerhouse Of Monsters and Men—More Than You Know ultimately lends a sublimely new vitality to its selected songs (some nearly a century-old).
