Evgeny Abramov

A graduate of the Russian Academy of Music, as an arranger and composer he worked with many stars of the Russian pop and jazz scene - Batyrkhan Shukenov, Arkady Shilkloper, Vladimir Chekasin, Andrey Tanzyu, Alexander Marshall, Angelika Varum, Zhanna Aguzarova, etc. In 2014, he organized his own ethno-jazz project SAKHRA. Originally a New Age music project turned to a wider variety of styles as Evgeny Abramov invited new members among wich Pavel Prokimov (contrabass), Pyotr Talalay (drums) and multi-instrumentalist Anton Kotikov. Currently, SAKHRA project is not only a permanent resident of moscow jazz-clubs such as 'Esse', 'Soyuz Kompozitorov' and 'Jam Club', but also a frequent participant of international festivals such as 'World of Siberia', 'Around the World', 'Trimurti', 'Ural Music Night'
