Emanuele Basentini
Born:
Emanuele Basentini was born in 1971 in Potenza, in the south of Italy. Thanks to his father influence he starts to play the guitar since he was a child. At 13 he discovers his passion for Jazz music. In 1989 he attends Siena Jazz courses, where is notices buy lots of musicians. The next year he moves to Rome where starts an intense concerts career. Over the years he appears in many important European stages, he’s awarded in several competitions and develops his experience as teacher in Music Academies, schools and seminaries. He records as leader "JUST IN TIME” , (Philology W 135) in 1998, “RED AND BOSS BAND” (Micca Records– Roma) in 2007; “THE BEST THING FOR YOU“ (Red Record – Milano) in 2008. In 2010 Emanuele Basentini moves to New York where he plays at such clubs as Smalls, Fat Cat, Kitano, Little Brunch, Piano Due, Le Cirque, St.Nick, ecc..
