Eddie Fisher

American singer and entertainer, who was one of the world's most famous and successful singers in the 1950s, selling millions of records and having his own TV show.

Young crooner, protege of Eddie Cantor; got first wide exposure as frequent guest performer on Cantor's early-50's TV broadcasts. Later responsible for million-selling records during the 50's, including "Any Time" (his signature song), "O My Papa!" and many others. He was married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, and Connie Stevens. His divorce from his first wife, Debbie Reynolds, to marry his best friend's widow, Elizabeth Taylor, garnered scandalously unwelcome publicity at the time. All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
