OTMARO RUIZ Considered one of the most important jazz pianists in the current scene, Venezuelan Otmaro Ruiz is known for his versatility and virtuosity. After working intensively in Venezuela with artists such as Soledad Bravo and Ilan Chester, Otmaro moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to join the group of great names of the jazz world such as Alex Acuña, Justo Almario y, Abraham Laboriel, with whom he still collaborates in diverse projects. With an intense musical career, filled with concerts, workshops and recordings worldwide, Otmaro worked for 5 years with Dianne Reeves as a pianist and musical director
MONIKA HOFFMAN is a Swedish singer with Hungarian-German roots. She is at home not only in classical music, latin, jazz and pop, but also in three languages, namely Swedish, Hungarian and English – all of which she uses for shades of musical expression that are quite distinct. Monika Hoffman studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she played with legends like Michael Brecker and Charlie Haden. In Hungary she became well known for participating in the TV show Megasztár – Voice of the Year, which resulted in a recording contract and a spot in the Hungarian finals for the Eurovision Song Contest

Hr og Fru OrgelDuo Travels the World is the debut album of the danish band OrgelDuo. Armed with drums and a hammond organ, the masterminds Daniel Sommer and Simon Eskildsen want to guide listeners and readers in their new homemade universe. The two musicians have created an audio-visual experience which tells the story of two retired Danes from a small suburb. Under the names Hr & Fru OrganDuo they travel the world - going on adventures, getting themselves in hairy situations and meeting plenty of exciting people.. Renato Diz is a Portuguese pianist, composer and producer based in New York. Born in Porto, Portugal, Renato studied classical piano exclusively for 12 years, under the tutelage of Dr. Rui Pintão, at Fundação Conservatório Regional de Gaia. A chance encounter with jazz at a concert by pianist and composer Carlos Azevedo, introduced him to the world of improvised music and he decided to pursue his studies in this art. In 2004 he became a private student of Carlos Azevedo and in 2006 he was accepted in the leading jazz program on the Iberian Peninsula at the time, for a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Performance at ESMAE - IPP in Porto
David Ellington grew up in Connecticut, moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music before moving to New Orleans in 1983. After immersing himself in the extraordinary music scene in New Orleans, David moved to Atlanta in 2005 where he shortly met drummer Chris Burroughs. Drummer/percussionist Chris Burroughs was raised in Rockford, Illinois and began playing at the early age of four. During his teenage years, Chris moved to Atlanta, GA to begin his professional career. Chris has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and Australia and has shared the stage with artists like Dee Dee Bridgewater, Carmen Bradford, Jennifer Holiday, Russell Gunn, Chris Duarte and more… Collectively their musical experiences and special artistic chemistry, make for an exciting elevated musical duo, known as Duo Elevation.
The collaboration between bassist and composer Ilaria Capalbo and pianist/composer Stefano Falcone is a work in progress, evolving since the pair met during studies and as their careers took shape, bringing Ilaria to Sweden and Stefano to Italy. The duo works on original compositions, co-writing and free improvisation, leading the tiny ensemble towards a distinctive, chamber-like sound that well represents the musicians' respective backgrounds and experiences. With this project, Stefano and Ilaria were featured as Artists In Residence for two years in a row at JazzIt Fest, a yearly event organized by Italy’s most prominent jazz magazine
