Marcelo von Schultz (Argentina, 1976) musician, drummer and teacher. Coming from the scene of jazz and creative music from the West (Dervish, Doña Marìa, Antü) for several years is devoted to the exploration and development of improvised music and free jazz.He has recorded two albums with Catriel Nievas, Dùo (2014) and Tùneles (2016) both edited by the French label Adaptador Records.Currently he continues playing in Dervish and is part of the trio Haiti, along with Cecilia Quinteros and Sergio Merce, a duo with Hernán Samá and the Mokita quartet with Cecilia Quinteros, Christoph Gallio and Alex Elgier.As a teacher he dictates the subject Afro-Latin Percussion of the chair of battery at the School of Art of Luján (Prov

Giuseppe Paradiso
Giuseppe Paradiso is a drummer, recording artist and composer active both as a bandleader of MERIDIAN 71, a world-jazz music project based in Boston, as well as a freelance recording and live musician across different music genres. As a leader, Giuseppe has released three albums: Otherness Collection (2012), Metropolitan Sketches (2020), and the latest Parallel Dimensions (2022) under the UBUNTU MUSIC record label (UK). All albums feature his original compositions. Since 2021, Giuseppe is a voting member of the prestigious Recording Academy (Grammy- Awards). Massimo Discepoli

Drummer and multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and teacher, since many years Massimo Discepoli works in the most different areas of music. He began his artistic career studying and participating in workshops with leading international masters, also attending the Berklee Schools clinics at Umbria Jazz 2004, receiving compliments by Giovanni Tommaso. Among the most important projects that see him involved in that period should be noted the trio Vibrham, active between 2004 and 2006, that allowed him to create an original fusion of jazz, funk and drum ‘n’ bass. With the trio he realizes the self-titled album in 2006 (which also contains his own compositions), as well as taking part in an intense concert activity. At the same time he began to study piano, bass and guitar, and also approaching electronic music; here he got the idea to start making his own music, which became reality with the creation of the Nheap project

Drummer/percussionist/producer Michael Shapiro has a very diverse career in the music buisness. He acts as producer for his wife, vocalist Kevyn Lettau. He maintains a very active touring schedule with many artists in a variety of genres and he spends time in the studios of L.A. lending his sound to many recordings. Some of the artists Michael has recorded and toured with include: Debby Boone, Brian Bromberg, Bobby Caldwell, Nell Carter, Dori Caymmi, Eliane Elias, Pete Escovedo, Frank Gambale, Jimmy Haslip, Al Jarreau, L.A. Nato a Milano il 27/2/1959 a 14 anni il primo gruppo "Inferno Canto primo " principalmente basato su rock progressive e jazz rock in compagnia di Roberto Muru, Rosario Santagata e il compianto Paolo Davola. In quel particolare periodo (1975) rimasi molto affascinato da Giulio Capiozzo degli "Area" imitandone l'impostazione (per quello che mi era possibile) e mi appassionai allo studio dei ritmi pluricomposti per poi scoprire e andare a ricercare tutti i grandi batteristi del Jazz e della Fusion. Meetings
At the moment the art projekt Meetings is happening in Malmö. The project aims to enable meetings between musical voices within a creative space based on improvisation. The idea was formed in the summer of 2017 by the musicians Jesse Emmoth and Kasper Lindberg as a reaction to the somewhat introvert sphere that improvised music often live inside. The goal was to create a musical context that is appealing and accessible for the general public and also appealing for the musicians that is invited to participate. In August “The Archipelago Suite” was performed with Josef Kallerdahl and Fredrik Davidsson as featured guest followed by “The Moody Comfort Suite” in November in which Johan Lundberg, Andreas Andersson and Mattias Hjorth participated

Clemens Kuratle

Born in 1991 in Bern, Switzerland, Clemens started playing the drums at the early age of 6 and by the age of 10 he made his first experiences as a drummer in the band of the reformed church in Meikirch/Berne were his father still preaches. He started taking piano lessons two years later. It was in highschool where he discovered his love for jazz and improvised music.
After High School he studied at the Hochschule Luzern - Musik Jazz Departement.His teachers and mentors included Pierre Favre, Gerry Hemingway, Norbert Pfammatter, Lauren Newton, Christoph Baumann, Ed Partyka, Roberto Domeniconi, Hans Feigenwinter and others.His studies with Gerry Hemingway led to an increasing interest in the music of the world, which led to a growing collection and knowledge of so called world-music, a development that cannot be underestimated.

Sanah has shared the stage with the legendary Kirk Lighstey,(Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stitt, Chet Baker), Philip Harper (Art Blakey), Ed Cherry (Dizzy Gillespie) Mark Whitfield (Herbie Hancock), Joe Locke, Pat Bianchi, Tivon Pennicott, Roy Hargrove, Sullivan Fortner, among many others. Sanah now tours and records with her own band.

Rich Zabinski

Rich Zabinski is an active Jazz Drummer performing in the Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania area. In addition to leading his own jazz group, Rich is a frequent guest artist with many local bands, including the Balcony Big Band and Tony Campbell’s Jazz Surgery. Having studied Jazz Drum-set with Lenny Rogers and Small Group and Big Band performance with David Budway and John Wilson respectively at Duquesne University, Rich has played alongside Clark Terry, Richie Cole, Marvin Stamm, Dwayne Dolphon, and many others. Rich also has extensive performing, teaching and arranging experience in the competitive marching arts arena. Rich was a member of the snare drum line with the elite Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, and has taught and arranged for the award winning Kiski Area Marching Band, as well as several other nationally ranked high school marching bands and drum and bugle corps.
