Wally Schnalle has been playing drums well over 40 years and has a long history of working with San Jose Jazz. For the past 20 years he’s been sharing his knowledge and experience as a teacher, bandleader, recording artist, and sideman with many great Bay Area bands. He performs and teaches in many genres, including Latin, funk, and rock and blues, but the bulk of his work is in Jazz and fusion. He has performed widely, including gigs at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest, Monterey Jazz Festival, Portland Jazz Festival and San Francisco’s Jazz in the City series. Schnalle has nine CDs of original compositions in release and was awarded a compositional commission from the Santa Clara University School of Music and Dance as well as an Artist In Residence Grant fro The California Arts Council

Joe holds a B.M. in Music Education in 1998. He also earned a Master of Arts program at New York University in the performance (Jazz Studies) program, in 2000. Dr. David Glover is the Assistant Professor of Percussion at Slippery Rock University, where he teaches applied lessons, percussion ensemble, music technology, jazz band, and the steel band (SRU Panorama). He received music degrees from The University of North Florida (B.A.E), The Florida State University (M.M. and M.M.E.), and the University of Texas at Austin (D.M.A.). A drummer and percussionist since he was 10, Glover has garnered a wide range of musical influences from jazz and classical music, to rock and Afro-Caribbean styles. Ted has a solid reputation as a musical, versatile drummer. He is an active member of Canada’s jazz scene and has been recognized with Jazz Report’s Drummer of the Year award. He teaches at Humber and Mohawk College in their Jazz Studies programs and is a well-regarded clinician and adjudicator. Ted fronts his own quartet, Ted’s Warren Commission, which has just released their debut CD, First Time Caller. He is a member of the Mike Murley, Mike Downes, Kieran Overs, and Ted Quinlan groups.
