Dan Aran

Dan Aran established himself as an in demand side man in the New York Jazz scene shortly upon arrival to the US in 2001. Aran started his musical journey in his hometown of Jerusalem, fascinated with the dumbek and drum set Dan got his first drums at 11 and a year later enrolled at the Rubin Academy of Music high school. Dan graduated from the school at seventeen and was already a busy drummer in the Israeli music scene, playing with a number of different groups including performing with bassist Avishai Cohen, the Amos Hoffman group, Omer Avital and with Mr. Arnie Lawrence's groups. He has performed at most of the major venues in Israel including the Jerusalem Theater, the Camelot and the International Red Sea Jazz Festival. Dan continued his education by enrolling at the New School University, located in New York City. He graduated in 2004 earning a BFA in performance and is now an active player on the New York City scene, He has played in major venues in the U.S, Europe and the Middle East and is active in both the jazz scene and in the world music scene. In addition to working with artists such as, Harry Whitaker, Junior Mance, Natalie Merchant, Stacey Kent, Art Hirahara, Ray Gallon, Dave Glasser Quartet, pharaoh's daughter, Nick Hempton, Omer Avital, Eti Ankri, John Di Martino, Alon Yavnai, Ron Affif, and many others, Dan leads his own quintet and is establishing himself as a writer and bandleader.

Joe Abba was born in the Bronx, NY and grew up in Wappinger Falls. He began playing drums in school in the fourth grade and studied privately with countless drummers and percussionists, including John Riley, Tony Moreno, Adam Nussbaum, Ed Shaughnessy, Jim Petercsak, Rick Barbour, Joe Morello, and others. With a B.M. in Music Education (Crane School of Music) and an M.A. in Jazz Performance (New York University), Joe has paved his musical path with musicians of all styles of music for years. He has performed on national and international TV performances, including, MTV's Spring Break, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Apprentice, famed NYC clubs, and plenty of NYC dive bars. Born in Argentina, Norbert Goldberg began his professional career in New York City. He received a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College where he studied symphonic percussion with Morris Lang. Norbert’s work on drumset and percussion encompasses a wide spectrum of styles. He has performed with Broadway legends such as Chita Rivera, Sandy Duncan, and Tommy Tune and has played in numerous Broadway shows including Dancin’, A Chorus Line, Grease and Once On This Island. Marco Zanoli

Marco Zanoli: Born in 1971 in Gallarate (Italy).
Started studying drums at the age of 15. Graduated at the Mozart College in Samarate (VA) in 1991 where he studied drums and percussions with Roberto Cavallo.
Following his graduation, continueshis studies with such masters as Elliot Zigmund, Gianni Cazzola, Ron Savage, Fabrizio Sferra, Ettore Fioravanti, Mauro Beggio. In addition to that, participates in a number of master classes and courses such as Berklee College Summer Schoolin Perugia, Siena Jazz and Sondrio Jazz.
In 1996, attracted by the art of improvisation, attends high profile Jazz Trio workshop led by Stefano Battaglia, Paolino Dalla Porta and Fabrizio Sferra. He has been a member of "THEATRUM" band of Stefano Battaglia from 2001 at 2008, performs as a concert artist in a variety of styles ranging from traditional jazz through contemporary and avant-garde jazz to projects of improvised and experimental music.

Weasel Walter

Multi-instrumentalist/composer/improviser born 1972 in Rockford, Illinois, probably best known to the general public as being a very fast, high-energy percussionist fusing free jazz and black/death/speed metal approaches. Weasel Walter (first name, last name) moved to Chicago in 1990 and founded the mercurial jazz/punk/noise/metal/prog project the Flying Luttenbachers in late 1991 with Hal Russell. In its various incarnations the group recorded 16 full-length albums and toured the United States and Europe extensively. During the early-to-mid '90s Mr. Walter proved to be a significant catalyst in the Chicago underground rock and improvised music scenes, forging strong connections between the two camps

Kevin Brow
Kevin holds a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Toronto where he studied with drum teachers Barry Elms and Bob McClaren and with composition and theory teachers Phil Nimmons and Paul Reed. He received the Avedis Zildjian Percussion Scholarship in 2002 and has twice received a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts to complete a self-directed study residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts (March 2005) and to further his professional studies in drumming and composition in New York City with Dan Weiss and John Hollenbeck (May 2006). He was also awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious Banff International Jazz Workshop headed by Kenny Werner in 2002.
