Sean Noonan
Born:
Rhythmic storyteller Sean Noonan composes and conducts with a pair of drum sticks original multi-stylistic American music. The treasures that he finds along the way are filtered through his distinctive vision to become the unpredictable and far-ranging sounds of Noonan’s wide-spectrum music, which combines the eloquence of an Irish bard, the narrative rhythms of Samuel Beckett, and the raw physicality of a street-smart boxer. An Irish-American drummer with a theatrical bent and a passion for African rhythms, Noonan’s excursions are both geographical, taking him to far-flung corners of the world to study cultural and conceptual traditions as he explores the outer limits of music to soak in harmolodic jazz, bleeding-edge rock or avant-garde classical influences

Patrick D. Wright
Born:
Studied music as a Percussion Major at the University of Northern Iowa. Toured with the Bruce Young Orchestra, Antelope Valley Jazz Ensemble, my own trio. I am a bop player with the technique to play soft and fast if necessary. My jazz predisposition influences other styles I play, such as World Music, Rock, Funk, Blues, Fusion, etc. I want to work, and make the music feel good for the other players. I bring a lot of musical experience to the table, and would be an asset to a group of serious players who want to create unique jazz events. I am an unknown in the Southern California jazz scene except for here in the Antelope Valley, where I live. I'd like that to change.
