Having family roots in Buenaventura, Alejandro had the oportunity of early exposure to afrocolombian music and also had the opportunity of attending festivals such as petronio alvarez since he was 3 years old. Also experiencing his first moments on stage thanks to Hugo Candelario who was friend of Alejandro’s father and let him on stage while “Grupo Bahia” was performing. Alejandro rapidly found himself fascinated by the instruments, the energy of the band and knew that he wanted to play music. After tirelessly asking his parents for Drums, they reached out to family friend Leonor Gonzales Mina (renown Colombian singer), who kindly gave Alejandro his first musical instrument, a bombo (a traditional folkloric drum), and offered them some advice for his musical development

Julian MacDonough is an award winning American jazz musician, studio drummer, and educator based in the Pacific NW. Since 1991, Julian has performed with over 200 musical acts and recorded 150+ albums to date. He is honored to have toured with such notables as Jimmy Heath, Harold Mabern, Joey DeFranscesco, Terell Stafford, Peter Bernstein, Joe Magnarelli, Gary Smulyan, Marcus Printup, Walter Banding Jr., and Dr. Lonnie Smith. Bob is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was on the road during the late 50's with various groups performing in New York, Pennsylvania and Indiana. While in Grand Rapids, Bob worked holding down the drum chair on a weekly, local TV variety show and formed a quartet with Doug Cook, along with his wife, Margo, as vocalist. Bob and Margo moved to the valley in 2000 and have stayed busy playing with local jazz musicians. Bob gigged with the Treme Brass Band from New Orleans when they were in Phoenix and is currently the drummer with the Sun Lakes Big Band. Bob has worked with world renowned jazz musicians

Jaelem Bhate is a conductor, composer, and bandleader from Vancouver, B.C. whose musical diversity has come to define his career. Born in Ithaca, New York Karl has spent the majority of his life in the Syracuse, NY area. Having grown up in a musical household, it was a natural thing for Karl to take to music and drums, in particular. Both of Karl's parents attended the Ithaca College School of Music. Karl's father Bob Sterling, was a drummer, composer/arranger, and leader of several successful bands in the Central New York area for many years. His mother, Helen majored in vocal studies at Ithaca College and is also a talented pianist. Karl now works as a nuerorehabilitation specialist, educator, and advocate for people with Parkinson's disease. In 2018, karl founded the the Parkinson’s Global Project ® - a 501c3 nonprofit corporation registered in the state of New York and is dedicated to funding Parkinson’s research and supporting Parkinson’s associations around the world

Overview
Jonas Linnemann (1981) has shown to be very versatile in terms of musical styles and genres. As co-leader of the formation StarkLinnemann he recorded six albums Awake (2014), Transcending Chopin Volume 1 (2016), Transcending Chopin Volume 2&3 (2016) Pictures at an Exhibition (2018) Transcending Beethoven Volume 1 (2020) Transcending Beethoven Volume 2 (2021). The genre of StarkLinnemann is best described as: Universal Crossover Music.
After Jonas Linnemann graduated at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg (NLD) in 2005, he continued to develop musically as instrumentalist and composer. He has worked as drummer and percussionist with many renowned Jazz musicians.
He is currently residing in Tilburg (NLD) with Jessica and their daughter Adinda. From there he is performing with the StarkLinnemann Trio/ Quartet / Quintet and subbing with other music groups throughout Europe. At the moment he is working on original music for a new Stark-Linnemann album entitled; Transcending Liszt. It will be released for UCM-Records in autumn 2022. In addition he is also keeping a busy teaching schedule.

Jerry Velona is a Boston area singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He's played and sung in a number of Boston bands and has written songs which have appeared on HBO, MTV and elsewhere. His voice has been featured in commercials and the theme song for the independent film “Lifestyles of the Poor and Unknown”.
Jerry attended Berklee College of Music and has released six albums of original material some of which achieved international airplay and rave reviews. Ryan Elwood is a drummer based out of Denver, Colorado. Throughout his career, he has performed at venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Ball Arena.
