McCoy Plaisted (they/he) is a rising Hartford-based drummer, composer, arranger, and educator. Focusing on Jazz, McCoy began their study of the drums at age five. While attending Nashua High School South, McCoy’s music education was built upon performing in large ensembles, including the NH Jazz All-State Big Band and the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps. McCoy’s passion to pursue a musical career was sparked as they began composing and arranging music at age sixteen.

In 2022, McCoy graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Afro-American Music Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, studying under Jeffrey W. Holmes, Tom Giampietro, and Felipe Salles. While at UMass Amherst, McCoy’s studies at UMass Amherst led them to perform as the principal drum set player in the Downbeat award-winning Jazz Ensemble 1 and Marimba Band 1. They also were appointed as the center snare for the Sudler Trophy award-winning UMass Minuteman Marching Band and led its nationally recognized percussion section. McCoy produced and released two remotely recorded EPs, a junior and a senior recital, and composed and arranged dozens of works. By the end of their time at UMass Amherst, McCoy was awarded The Fletcher Henderson/Max Roach Scholarship Award for their outstanding achievements and dedication to the Jazz Studies program and represented the UMass Jazz Department in New York City at the International Association of Schools of Jazz 2022 conference.

Orian Om Rozenzweig, professionally known as Orian Rose, is a drummer, composer, and record producer based in New York City. He was born on September 19, 1997, in Jerusalem, Israel, and spent his formative years in India from ages 3 to 9, where he learned to play the tabla.

Orian's passion for music led him to pick up the drums at the age of 10, and he quickly developed a prodigious talent for the instrument. He began studying classical piano and theory at the age of 12, further broadening his musical horizons. Arguably the greatest jazz drummer of all time, the legendary Buddy Rich exhibited his love for music through the dedication of his life to the art. His was a career that spanned seven decades, beginning when Rich was 18 months old and continuing until his death in 1987. Immensely gifted, Rich could play with remarkable speed and dexterity despite the fact that he never received a formal lesson and refused to practice outside of his performances. Born Bernard Rich to vaudevillians Robert and Bess Rich on September 30, 1917, the famed drummer was introduced to audiences at a very young age. By 1921, he was a seasoned solo performer with his vaudeville act, "Traps the Drum Wonder." With his natural sense of rhythm, Rich performed regularly on Broadway at the age of four

  Michel Seba was born in 1973 nearby Arlon and grew up there amidst a family of passionate musicians. The sounds of his childhood are the bagpipe and the hurdy-gurdy. He starts his education with many traineeships at the Academie Internationale d’Eté thanks to Chris Joris and Didier Labarre. After he finishes secondary school, the next logical step for him is to leave the south of Luxemburg and to go the Royal Conservatory in Brussels to study under the direction of Frank Michiels and Diederik Wissels.

His ability to mix different styles and his growing talent make him famous in no time and he is asked to join the greatest: Eric Legnini, Eddy Louiss, Toots Thielemans or even Eric Truffaz, Paco Sery and many others. He feels comfortable in every register, whether it is jazz, folk or world music. He proves that regularly when participating at festivals such as the Jazz Festival in Montréal, the Jazz Marathon in Brussels or the very famous Montreux Jazz Festival.  Having gained his place in the Belgian music scene, he is often asked to give classes and workshops in Belgium at the Aktd of Libramont and abroad, more particularly in Burkina Faso and Vietnam.

Jaylen Petinaud

Instrumentalist Jaylen K. Petinaud is thriving on the music scene as one of the most sought out drummers and composers in the entertainment industry. He is currently on tour with Herbie Hancock, Kenny Garrett and Theo Croker. His style and execution formulate an unleashed technique that uplifts soulful harmonies. Born and raised in Brooklyn, the young talented drummer grew up playing in the church and followed the lead of many trailblazers. He graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz studies at SUNY Purchase College in 2020. He studied with jazz greats Jon Faddis, Kenny Washington, and Matt Wilson. As Jaylen transitioned into his career, he developed a forward-thinking signature. Mentored by Zane Mark, his guidance helped Jaylen navigate to a different plateau.While he’s no stranger to the Broadway scene, Jaylen made his official Broadway debut as an arranger and composer of the recent Tony-nominated revival, “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuff” under the direction of Camille A. Brown. Along with his contribution, he has done extended work with her company, “Camille A. Brown & Dancers” doing residencies and workshops. Simultaneously, he worked on the new musical, “Black No More” starring Tariq Trotter, known as, Black Thought from hip hop group “The Roots”. In addition, he’s been working on pre-productions of “A Wonderful World” and Disney’s “Aida”. He frequently performs with Broadway stars Joshua Henry, Amber Iman, and Brandon Victor Dixon. From Broadway to Television, Jaylen played live on PBS network with Brandon Victor-Dixon & went back to his roots playing the drums in a church scene on the Season 4 premiere of “The Last O.G.” starring Tracy Morgan. Jaylen is currently working on “THE HARDER THEY COME” at The Public Theater in NYC.
