A true sisterhood of singers, DivaNation is a diverse and developing community of Philadelphia's female jazz singers who evoke the spirit of legendary Jazz singers like Ethel Waters, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone.

Birthed through the Philadelphia Jazz Project, and supported by the Community Education & Action Project, INC, DivaNation is embarking on its fifth year of building community, developing artistry, supporting new talent and new audiences for Philadelphia jazz-based singers.
