Dennis Kwok

Dennis Kwok is a multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, performer, and composer based in Toronto. Originally from Calgary, his interest in jazz and improvised music lead him to Toronto where he completed a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Saxophone and Composition. As a saxophonist and woodwind doubler, he has studied under the likes of Pat Labarbera, Kirk MacDonald, Nina Martini- Dorey, Richard Thomson, Nadina Mackie Jackson and David Sussman among others. His versatility has led him to involvement in contrasting genres from the orchestra to the funk band including collaborations with JUNO award winner, Allison Au, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Dennis is currently an active performer in the Greater Toronto Area as a freelancer, bandleader, and member of Mason Victoria's Sonuskapos Jazz Orchestra, and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir
