Vancouver Island-based Wolfe has performed hundreds of times on stages in Canada and the USA as both a flashy pop-rock guitar-slinging band mate, and as a cuddlier version of Bruce Cockburn in acoustic singer/songwriter mode. Wolfe, a recent transplant from Toronto, hosted open mic nights in Victoria for six months- accepting the opportunity to mingle with local talent. At the end of his stint he realized he'd long neglected his passion as a teen for jazz fusion in the likes of Weather Report, Bruford and Al Di Meola- a genre completely absent during the nights on the cafe stage. Through the miracle craigslist, Wolfe unexpectedly and completely out of left field to all his family and friends- became guitarist for nFuze and added yet another genre to his repertoire: instrumental jazz fusion
