Pianist David Williams was born in Liverpool, England and after graduating from the Royal Military College of Music at Knellar Hall set out to travel the world. After serving ten years in the British Army with the Band of the 10th Royal Hussars and the Band of the Irish Guards, he settled in London playing all the major London hotels and Club venues. A multi-talented artist he was not only employed as band leader and musical coordinator for EMI , but also arranged for various groups and worked as a BBC staff musician playing piano, organ, saxophone and flute. All this was followed by several years working on transatlantic cruises and eventually he found himself on the shores of the United States, where he chose to stay
