Dave Kluge is a multifaceted bassist, composer and educator based in Rochester, N.Y. He is driven by creative storytelling and artistic expression through music. As an active freelance bassist, he performs with a wide variety of ensembles including The Russell Scarbrough Soul Jazz Big Band, The Eastman Educators Big Band, Silver Arrow Band and more. He has composed music for The Penfield Music Commission Project featuring Micheal Dease, Christian Howes, The ECMS Educators Big Band at The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival, All-County Honors orchestras, jazz ensembles, quartets, orchestras and choirs
