Cristobal Pinto is a Mexican jazz composer and guitar player. Pinto has a specialization in General Music Studies (Berklee Online), having Joe Mulholland, Bruce Saunders, and Rick Peckham as instructors. He is one of the main elements of the Guatemala jazz scene since 2017 when he published his first álbum: Deja Vu. With that record, he was invited to participate in large-scale events, such as: Guatemala Jazz Festival (February 2018), Sofar Sounds GT, Jazztronomy (Wine and jazz music festival), Jalisco Jazz Festival (Guadalajara, 2018) In the local scene, Cristobal has played with many great jazz players like Germán Giordano (Berklee Magna Cum Laude), Alejandro Álvarez, Antonio Monterroso (Mcnally Smith College) and several members of Imox Jazz Band
