Chuck Gottesman is one of the most active trumpet players in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. His ability to perform with expertise in many styles has made him first-call with many area bandleaders and brides-to-be. The press has called Gottesman “a monster … his flugelhorn playing is as warm as Art Farmer’s, while his trumpet playing seems to sizzle with a different set of ideas.” As an undergraduate at Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music, Gottesman was a student of famed trumpeter and educator Seymour Rosenfeld.
