Chris Oatts

Chris Oatts is a saxophonist and composer from Des Moines, Iowa, who now resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He first began playing music at the age of ten when he received a saxophone from his father as a gift. Chris has since moved to Philadelphia to pursue a degree in music from Temple University and he has brought his passion for music along with him. Chris is a versatile musician who has studied and performed with world-renowned musicians such as Dick Oatts, Terell Stafford, Tim Warfield and Walt Weiskopf. He has performed extensively around the United States and in Europe at venues such as Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola in New York City and Bimhuis in Amsterdam
