Lefteris Kordis

Pianist, composer and Inner Circle Music recording artist, Lefteris Kordis, has established himself as a unique voice in the Mediterranean Jazz genre. He grew up in Elefsis, an ancient and multicultural town near Athens, Greece. Since age four, he studied, performed, and composed based on a wide spectrum of genres including Greek Folk, European Chamber, and Jazz.

Kordis started on piano at age 4, ingesting broad swaths of the classical tradition and soon-thereafter, jazz. Before he turned 18, he had performed with legendary Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis. That was an excellent start to a career that’s seen him supporting many maestros in Jazz (Steve Lacy, Sheila Jordan, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Greg Osby, Robin Eubanks), and Greek Folk (Panayotis Lalezas, Glykeria, Vasilis Saleas), at festivals and major venues (Carnegie Hall, Panama JF, Toronto JF, Athens Epidaurus Festival), worldwide.

Vitor Pereira was in Porto (Portugal), where he started studying classical music graduating in classical guitar in 2003. Vitor Pereira was born in Porto/Portugal where he studied classical music and started developing an interest for jazz. He participated in several jazz seminars and private lessons in Europe with musicians such as Pat Metheny, Jonathan Kreisberg, Gilad Hekselman or Aaron Goldberg and in 2004 moved to London to study jazz performance at Middlesex University. Since then, living in London he’s been an active name in the local and European jazz scenes performing with Asaf Sirkis, Marc Demuth, Binker Golding, Andre Canniere, etc... With his quintet he published three albums of original music

Todd Sickafoose is a Tony and Grammy award-winning composer, producer, arranger, orchestrator, bandleader and double bassist. He has performed on hundreds of recordings, toured internationally, appeared at music venues and festivals from Carnegie Hall to New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and played on national television and radio programs including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with Conan O’Brien, The Artists Den, and NPR’s Mountain Stage. Known as a musical cross-breeder who stretches across genres, Sickafoose has been described by the San Francisco Chronicle as “a captivating improviser, imaginative composer, and master of collaboration”.

Michigan native Stratøs is a saxophonist, composer, producer, and film photographer whose presence in the modern jazz scene is rapidly growing. His improvisational style is rooted heavily in the subtle melodicism of the cool jazz tradition and extends to the bold, complex nature of the electronic jazz scene. His compositions explore a combination of elements between jazz and other styles such as hip-hop, metal, electronica and classical. Stratøs is the three-time winner of the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award from 2019-2021. Additionally, he was awarded the ASCAP Foundation’s Johnny Mandel Prize as well as being selected as a National Sawdust New Works Commission Contest winner

Formed in 2007, Waxwing is a co-led group created by three veterans of the Vancouver music scene: Tony Wilson on guitar, Peggy Lee on cello and Jon Bentley on saxophones. She's a native Detroiter whose creative influences come from the Motor City's exciting urban and classical music culture. Gwen started improvising and composing because of her parents love of jazz, blues, soul and classical music and her inspiring music teachers from Detroit's public schools. Laster relocated to NYC after earning two music degrees from the University of Michigan
