Frank "Buzz" Amato is an independent writer, arranger, producer & keyboardist with over 25 years in the music industry. He appears on more than100 CDs (2 received platinum certification) as performer or producer. In the early 80s, Buzz toured the world with the legendary Curtis Mayfield as musical director and during that time became staff producer for Ichiban Records. In the 90s, Buzz focused on production & writing, working with some of music's finest such as Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, & Ben E King to name a few. In 2000, Buzz created Amatones Music. He composed music for CNN, Delta Airlines, & The Discovery Channel & scored 2 songs for the W.VA Symphony with the Bob Thompson jazz trio
