Tal Klein

Tal Klein is an Israeli Jazz pianist, composer and educator based in New York City.

He was classically trained to play piano from the age of 6 . He was introduced to jazz at the age of 14. He studied at Katzanelson HS Music Dept. - Kfar Saba Israel for three years. During that time Tal was involved in a symphonic orchestra, big bands, and various ensembles. At the age of 17 he won the 2nd place Regional "Best Jazz Musician" (Youth). Afterwards he was accepted to the Israeli Police Orchestra as a lead pianist there he served 3 years from the age of 18-21. During his service he played in the most desired places and Festivals in Israel such as: The President House, The “Knesset”, Karmiel Festival, Klezmer Festival in Tzfat, The Israel Museum, “Ha’Bima” The House of the American Ambassador etc

Billy Newman

Guitarist Billy Newman has been performing for over 20 years. Starting in Jazz, he performed in the 80’s with artists such as Dave Douglas and Vincent Herring. Since 1992 he has been traveling to Brazil, spending months there to investigate the myriad forms of music. In 1995 he began forming groups to perform principally Brazilian instrumental music at New York cultural institutions including the Guggenheim Museum, Brooklyn Museum, and MOMA, as well as at colleges, clubs and libraries. After 1998, Billy developed a serious passion for Choro music, studying and playing with musicians including Rogerio Souza and Rodrigo Lessa in Rio de Janeiro

Mavis Pan

Mavis Pan was born in Taiwan where she started taking piano lessons at the age of four, attending the Stella Matutina Girls School, where she was enrolled in the prestigious Specialized Music program. Ms. Pan received rigorous training in piano, voice, music theory, and ear training until the family immigrated to the United States, New Jersey. Mobile since her birth in Singapore, composer and saxophonist Caroline Davis’s music covers a wide range of styles, owed to her shifting environment as a child. As a leader, she has released six albums: Live Work & Play (2012), Doors: Chicago Storylines (2015), Heart Tonic (2018), Alula (2019), Anthems (2019), and Portals (2021). William Tatge

Born: April 28, 1978

Born in Umbria, Italy, of American parents, he lived in Todi and Florence until moving to New York City in 2008. Tatge is active in jazz, classical, new and improvised music. He has performed throughout Europe, South America, Japan, Canada and the U.S. in solo piano concerts, leading his groups or as a sideman. Some of the venues and festivals he has played at include Musicus Concentus in Florence, Imprudences Festival in Paris, Wesleyan University, New York Winter Jazz Fest, New York Italian Institute, and Montreal Jazz Festival. He has also performed in New York clubs such as 55 Bar, Kitano, Smalls, Zinc Bar, The Owl Music Parlor, Korzo, Bowery Electric and Blue Note. In 2009 Tatge released his first album as a leader, Mutable Enclosures, receiving excellent reviews in All About Jazz and Jazz Review
