Melbreeze

Melbreeze was born in the historic port city of Smyrna, Turkey - home to illustrious Greek and Roman settlements. As an only child, she grew up in a house where music flowed freely and she found a company in art and music. Her first foray into performance was through ballet, which she started learning when she was five years old and pursued for many years to come. Carlos Henrique Pereira

Carlos Henrique Pereira is an accomplished composer, piano and acoustic guitar player from one of the most influential and dynamic musical regions of South America, the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Minas

Orlando Haddad and Patricia King formed Minas in 1978 at North Carolina School of the Arts to bring Brazilian music to stateside audiences. They proceeded to play all over the eastern US before going back to their musical roots in Brazil, where they entertained, traveled extensively and recorded their first album, Num Dia Azul. Today Minas is one of the most sought-after Brazilian bands in the United States. Minas is built upon the duo's multiple talents as vocalists, instrumentalists and composers with an impressive grasp of the whole range of Brazilian musical idioms. At the core of any Minas show are the voices of the duo, which reflects two decades of vocal and instrumental blending. Warm and engaging, this magical sound becomes infectious when Minas adds bass, drums, percussion and horns to Orlando's guitar and Patricia's keyboards.

Burchfield-Vituri Project

The Burchfield-Vituri Project is an ongoing series of collaborations between American saxophonist/woodwind doubler Tyler Burchfield and Brazilian guitarist Pedro Vituri. Influenced by modern and free jazz, traditional Brazilian music, modern classical, as well as funk and rock, Tyler and Pedro explore a wide sound palate, showcasing compositions and arrangements for duo, quartet, and larger ensemble, all of which can be heard on their debut album, Metonímia, released in March of 2018.
