Seba Molnar is a saxophonist, composer, and educator, based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Seba Molnar is a Berklee alumni with a degree in saxophone performance. Hilary Noble

Born: July 12, 1960

Hilary Noble is woodwind player, Afro-Latin percussionist, composer and music educator living in the Boston area. He has performed all over the U.S, Europe, and in Puerto Rico. His music has been played on radio stations internationally and featured prominently on local programs such as WGBH’s “Eric in the Evening”, on which he has performed live with his band Enclave. In 2008 Enclave received a grant from Chamber Music America to compose an Afro-Cuban jazz suite: the resulting work was premiered live on WGBH and at the Jazz Gallery in New York City. Artists Hilary Noble has played and recorded with include Bobby Sanabria’s Ascención, Esperanza Spalding, John Santos, Ray Vega, Chris Washburne, Charles Neville, Bo Diddley, Eric Krasno, Entrain, Max Creek, Bob Moses, Robin Kenyatta, Clifford Thornton, and Alvin Queen.

Siyao Wang

Born: August 17, 1994

Siyao Wang (b.1994) was originally born in Shenyang, China, currently based in Boston. She successively studied alongside famous pianists in US, Guo Ying, Chih-Long Hu, and Esther Park. She first studied for a bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State University having received a full Steinway scholarship, and then followed Boaz Sharon to achieve a master’s degree from Boston University College of Music. John Finbury

John Finbury is an American composer based in Andover, MA. His earliest music education and influence came from his father Herb, a musician (violin) and one of the first jazz composition students at the Schillinger School in Boston, which would later become Berklee College Of Music. In his teenage years, John played rock & roll drums, most notably at the “The Bitter End” in New York City. In college, John studied classical piano and music theory and composition at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge and Boston University. Seeking another connection to music, John ran a legendary movie house and concert hall in Salem, MA, hosting performances by BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Richard Thompson, REM, Eric Burton and The Animals, and Pat Metheny, among many others

Man On Land

Man On Land first performed in 2009 at the Taylor House in Jamaica Plain, playing original music by all three members. The sympathetic connection between them was obvious, and inspired them to keep performing and composing specifically for the group. Through a decade of performing each other’s music, that connection has deepened and is clearly manifested in this debut recording. Their original music places a great emphasis on melody, narrative, atmosphere, and interaction, blending together their distinct compositional voices.
