Bobby Streng is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and music director based in Ann Arbor. For over 25 years, he has written, performed, and recorded music of all genres. 2019 saw the release of his sixth album of original music, “Safe and Loved”. Bobby’s love and curiosity for music started at an early age. After discovering his father’s old Elkhart alto, piano lessons were augmented with saxophone studies. By age 14, he was leading his own jazz sextet. Not realizing that you could buy arrangements and lead sheets, Bobby meticulously transcribed and arranged the group’s entire library
